Thailand political crisis continues amid show of force by the Red Shirts

Amid continuing attempts by right-wing forces to overthrow the government of Thailand, the Red Shirt movement staged their first major rally in Bangkok for this year. While the Red Shirts had staged many demonstrations around the country before this time, their show of force in Bangkok may lead to a direct clash with the right wing forces of the Yellow Shirts. Meanwhile, there is a renewed push by activists to repeal the oppressive Lese Majeste Law – Article 112, and free all political prisoners in Thaland.

No to a military coup in Thailand!
Repeal Article 112!
Free Somyot and all other political prisoners!
