Stop precarious work – for secure and safe jobs

With the increasing globalisation of the economy over the last 30 years, workers have been subjected to constant attacks by capitalists and governments. This ‘Race to the Bottom’ by capitalists has led to many of us seeing our wages and conditions decrease over time. One of the ways this has been achieved has been to weaken our ability to organise and respond collectively by undermining job security. Casual, contracted out, part time or temporary jobs are now very common around the world. We need to fight back and demand secure and safe jobs. Join the International Day against Precarious Work on the 7th of October.
