Private security guards break pickets in South Korea

At two recent protests by workers at the Asan factory of car parts maker SJM, as well as the Pyeongtaek, Munmak, and Iksan factories of Mando Corporation, workers have faced increased repression. Not only did management institute a lockout of union members, they then hired private thugs to harass and attack workers on picket lines outside of these workplaces.
