Melbourne rally: End the dictatorship in Iran

Iran Solidarity Melbourne has organised a protest march to coincide with the second anniversary of the 2009 presidential elections which sparked off Iran’s biggest popular uprising since the 1979 revolution. The 2009 protests were severely repressed, and since then hundreds have been executed by the regime and many have been simply murdered in the streets or in their homes. Thousands have been arrested, and many tortured at the hands of the regime. Join this action to protest against the ongoing oppression of the Iranian people. Support the international campaign for human rights in Iran.

Rally: Sunday 12 June at 2pm – Federation Square Melbourne

Demand
Freedom for all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience in Iran
The immediate and unconditional end to all executions in Iran
Stop all forms of torture and cruel and unusual punishments in Iran

End the dictatorship in Iran
