Indian workers to stage a two day General Strike

Following on from the general strike in 2012 where tens of millions of workers participated, Indian workers are again mobilising. Facing ongoing unrelenting attacks, 11 Central Trade Union Organisations, have come together in a show of national unity of workers and an effort to fight back. As in the rest of the world, casualisation and contracting out are being used to drive down wages & conditions and weaken the power of trade unions. That is why on the 20 and 21 of February there will be a general strike in India. Workers change the world.
