Workers in Syria need to defend their own side in the current civil war

After two years since the start of the uprising against the Assad government in Syria, the situation has become increasingly tough for workers and other progressive organisations. A variety of reactionary and imperialist forces have been attempting to influence the outcome of the war for some time now. This year has seen the brutality of war increasingly effect the Syrian population.
