Workers in China continue to organise

Earlier this month, around 1,000 shoe workers in Dongguan took industrial action to protest against managements plans to cut their monthly performance bonus from 500 yuan to 100 yuan. Workers used social media to successfully publicise their dispute. The number of strikes in China have increased markedly in the last six months.
