Support Fiji workers

Two Fijian trade unionists, Daniel Urai and Nitin Gounder, are appearing in court on Friday the 2nd of September charged with unlawful assembly. Their ‘crime’ was meeting up with their union members to discuss a collective agreement.

The only solution is for workers to stand united and fight the military regime. Many unions, such as the Public Service International, the International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers’ Unions, and the Maritime Union of Australia, have already declared their solidarity with Fijian workers.

Protest rallies in Australia will take place on the 2nd of September to coincide with the court appearances of comrades Urai and Gounder:
