Somyot sends message from jail

When Thai unionists and activists visited Somyot Pruksakasemsuk in jail recently he asked them to convey his appreciation for the solidarity support he has received. Somyot said that, if possible, campaign activities at Thai embassies overseas could help. He said that Thai embassies would report such actions to the Thai government. Photos of the protest actions could be collected and also a short summary of actions could be written and sent to Thailand. This would be very helpful for publicity in Thailand.

Somyot also asked that protest letters be sent to the Thai Prime Minister, the Palace and the Criminal Courts. For a sample letter click here and for more information click here.
