Korean worker heroic aerial protest ends after 408 days

As reported earlier this year, Cha Gwang-ho broke the record for the longest occupation protest of a chimney or similar aerial structure. Cha was fighting the Star company over his dismissal. Last week, Cha decided to end his protest after an incredible 408 days atop an industrial chimney stack. While family and supporters were there to greet his return, unfortunately the police was also there and Cha was arrested for obstruction and trespass.
