Unions use FIFA corruption scandal to highlight workers issues

This week’s story of corruption within world’s football authority FIFA has not only started uncovering massive criminal activities, but has also exposed the situation for migrant workers in Qatar. The International Trade Union Confederation has used this week’s arrests to further their campaign for greater rights for migrant workers in Qatar and for the establishment of independent trade unions.
