Pakistan contract workers still fighting against casualisation

In a long running dispute, hundreds of workers employed by the global snack food company Mondelez Cadbury, situated in Balochistan province, have been stepping up their actions in their fight for permanent jobs. Casualisation and contracting out is a favoured tactic by companies to undermine workers conditions and ability to organise. Mondelez has also done this before. A petition can be signed to support the Mondelez workers in their fight. As a global company, Mondelez has operations in many other countries. Co-ordinated industrial actions by workers in other Mondelez workplaces will be the most effective strategy to advance all of our rights.
