Iranian workers continue to face repression

As previously reported, over 50 unionists were recently arrested in the city of Karaj as they were meeting to discuss how to organise in workplaces more efficiently. Some of these unionists have now been tortured while in jail and are being dragged through a biased judicial system. There is an international campaign calling for their release.
Likewise, the leadership of the Haft Tapeh sugarworkers union continue to face daily harassment while former union president, Mr Ali Nejati, is at risk of dying in prison due to deteriorating health conditions. Support the campaign for the release of Mr Nejati.
