Australia intends to outsource refugees to Cambodia

As reported previously the Australian government is continuing to increase repressive measures against refugees. Not content with having two concentration camps in isolated parts of Papua New Guinea and Nauru, the government is now looking to have Cambodia accept some of these refugees. Given that there is no procedure for these refugees to become Cambodia citizens and the authoritarian nature of the Cambodian government, this move amounts to further victimisation of refugees.
