A win for hospital workers and the start for airport workers in South Korea

As reported last week, South Korean hospital workers had begun an indefinite strike. This week, they managed to win some improvements in job security, higher staff numbers and better patient care. Workers see this as the first step in a broad campaign to improve health standards. Meanwhile, thousands of contract airport workers employed at Incheon Airport staged their first ever strike to gain better job security and increase their wages and conditions. More actions are planned.
