The reality for Palestinians is that any show of peaceful popular dissent is targeted by the Israeli military and police apparatus, including a recent raid on a Palestinian human rights organisation. In addition, the present climate is making life even worse for Palestinian workers as they feel under siege, afraid to stand up for their rights at the workplaces, and fearful about their jobs.
