Iranian workers face more repression and arrests

Workers in Iran are continuing to face repression by the government, as well as enduring economic hardships that are compounded by the economic sanctions against Iran. At the end of 2013, another two prominent worker activists, Afshin Nadimi and Mehrdad Sabouri, were sentenced to jail terms for their membership and activity in the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organisations.
